Jennifer Lawrence, already an Oscar nominee, is that the star here, taking part in Katniss, a young adult who competes within the Hunger Games, a nationally televised tournament to the death.

The rest of the cast includes Elizabeth Banks as Katniss’ guide Effie Trinket, Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman, Donald Sutherland as President Snow and Woody Harrelson as Haymitch Abernathy.

This movie release date March 23, 2012.
